Financial Assistance

Since we opened our doors at St. George’s in 1930, we have recognized the value and need for offering aid to deserving students.  Financial assistance is based on need and is available for families who meet pre-set criteria.  For more information concerning financial assistance or payment methods, please contact admissions@stgeorges.qc.ca.

Merit-based Scholarships

St. George’s School of Montreal is pleased to offer merit-based scholarships.  This program will be awarding scholarships to three incoming Grade 7 students every year, beginning in the 2017/2018 academic year.

Three merit-based scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $10,000 each, in increments of $2,000 annually over five years, and applied directly toward school tuition and fees.

This scholarship program has been designed to ensure alignment with St. George’s Mission.  Eligible students will be evaluated on the following criteria of cumulative measures across multiple categories:

  • academic performance (A minimum of 85% required on the NNAT/Math/English segments of the CAT entrance exam.  All applicants will be required to take this exam.)
  • extra-curricular contributions to school life and community
  • character traits, as demonstrated through personal commitment and engagement in school and community

To apply, fill out the online admissions application form for incoming Grade 7 students  and check “Yes” on page 11.

After filling out the online admissions application form, please complete the merit-based scholarship application form.

The deadline to apply for a merit-based scholarship is November 15, 2016.  For more information, contact admissions@stgeorges.qc.ca
