Tuition, Scholarships and Financial Aid
Beyond unmatched teaching and learning, St. George’s tuition fees cover essential materials, ongoing professional development for our educators, critical student services like academic advising and counselling, and more. Annual fundraising efforts allow us to run scholarship and bursary programs for deserving students and families who may not otherwise be able to finance a St. George’s education.

Scholarships
St. George’s School of Montreal is pleased to offer merit-based scholarships. Up to five merit-based scholarships will be awarded per year in the amount of $10,000 each, in increments of $2,000 annually over five years, and applied directly toward school tuition and fees. This scholarship program has been designed in alignment with St. George’s Mission. Merit-based scholarships will be granted to those who demonstrate high achievement across multiple categories: academic performance, substantial extra-curricular contributions, and character traits as demonstrated through personal commitment and engagement in school life.
Eligible students will be evaluated on the following criteria:
- Academic success on the Common Admission Test (C.A.T.) entrance exam. All applicants will be required to take the exam and incur any related costs.
- Extra-curricular contributions to school life and community.
- Character traits, as demonstrated through personal commitment and engagement in school and community.
Eligible students can indicate their interest in being considered when completing their online application for admission to St. George’s. They are also required to submit a merit-based scholarship application form (deadline October 21, 2022). Please click here for details.
Students who are eligible for scholarships will participate in a private interview (without parents) as an extension of the Admissions interview process. The interview will provide the applicant the opportunity to elaborate upon their accomplishments in areas such as community service, leadership, music, arts, athletics, citizenship, character and overall engagement.
