Grade 7 Admission Testing

A Grade 7 Admission Test (CAT) will be required when applying to Grade 7 and will be scheduled by the Admissions Team as part of the admissions process. Please review this information.

There are five possible dates to write the 2025 Grade 7 Common Admissions Test (CAT). Registration deadlines are approximately 10 days before the actual test date.
Please review this information, which also includes sample questions, before registering for one of the test dates.

Registration opens on August 18, 2025 at 8 am.

• September 14, 2025 (registration closes on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 11 p.m.)
• September 21, 2025 (registration closes on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 11 p.m.)
• September 28, 2025 (registration closes on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 11 p.m.)
• October 5, 2025 (registration closes on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 11 p.m.)
• October 19, 2025 (registration closes Friday, October 10, 2025, at 11 pm.)

Preparation:

• No advance preparation/studying is required. There will not be any French or Math specific evaluations.

Payment:

• The CAT is administered by Brisson Legris (BL). Registration and payment for the test is done through the BL registration form.
• The cost of the test is $78.18 and is payable directly to Brisson Legris.

Family Admission Meeting

• Family Admission Meetings will be starting in October 2025. This provides an opportunity for us to get to know your family and for you to learn more about the St. George’s experience.
