Admissions Process

To begin your admission application please complete the Inquiry Form. The Admissions Team will send you an email with detailed information.

Application Checklist and Supporting Documentation Required

• Online application form
• Non-refundable application fee, payable online:
  • Students accompanying a parent living in Quebec temporarily for employment, school or on diplomatic status: $50 CAD
  • Students coming for the purpose of study to Montreal: $250 CAD
• Copy of original Birth certificate and an officially translated Birth Certificate (if original is not in English or French)
• School recommendation form
• Current year report card
• Final report cards for the previous two years
• Psycho-educational assessment (if applicable)

Application deadline

Kindergarten – October 28, 2024
Grade 7 – October 4, 2024
Grades 1-6 and 8-11 – January 17, 2025

Please note applications are accepted throughout the year and are processed based on spaces available in the requested grade.

Family Admission Meeting:
Family admissions meetings are scheduled virtually or in person. This provides an opportunity for us to get to know your family and for you to learn more about St. George’s.
For Grade 1 – 6 applicants, Math, reading, and writing assessments will be conducted as a part of the family admissions meeting.

Admissions Testing for Grades 7-11:
Students attending a school outside the province of Quebec are required to complete the admissions test. The admission test will be administered by Brisson Legris and proctored by your child’s current school. The admissions test will assess your child’s skills in Math, English, and, if applicable, French, to determine their current level of learning. This will provide us a better understanding of how to best support your child to be successful at our school.

Registration and payment for the test is done through Brisson Legris. The cost of the test is $143.72 CAD and is payable directly to Brisson Legris.
