Applicants must have an English Eligibility Certificate to attend St. George’s High School. Please note that if your child is accompanying a parent on a Work Permit, Study Permit, or Diplomatic Status, the school will apply for the certificate once your child is enrolled.

Application Checklist and Supporting Documentation Required

  • Online application form
  • Non-refundable $50 application fee, payable online. For questions regarding payment contact the admissions office.
  • Birth certificate (French or English)
  • Photo of the applicant
  • School recommendation form
  • Current year report card
  • Final report cards for the previous two years
  • Déclaration d’admissibilité à l’enseignement en Anglais (English Eligibility Certificate) issued by the Ministry of Education
  • Psycho-educational assessment (if applicable)

The application deadlines for admission to Grades 8–11 for the 2026-2027 academic year are as follows:

  • Early Admissions: Friday, November 20, 2026.
  • General Admissions: Friday, January 22, 2027.

Applications received past the deadline will be accepted and considered only as space becomes available.

After the application is received, a Family Admission Meeting will be scheduled beginning in January 2026 for early admissions, and in February 2027 for general admissions.

Admission testing is only required for students attending a school outside of Quebec. The admission test will be administered by Brisson Legris and proctored by your child’s current school. This provides an opportunity for us to get to know your family and for you to learn more about the St. George’s experience.

Decisions will be shared for early admissions at the end of February.

Bus Services

We run shared bus service on seven routes across the greater Montreal area, in partnership with other QAIS (Quebec Association of Independent Schools) private schools. Most routes stop at fixed points along the way; the Nuns’ Island route picks students up at their door.
