St. George's Glee Club, G Major, consists of over 50 students, faculty and staff members who rehearse year-round under the artistic direction of Performing Arts Department Head Candace Grynol. The club was founded in 2009, and recently inspired a spin-off at the Elementary School, E Minor.
G Major finished 1st (non-arts, large group) at the 2018, 2016, 2015 and 2014 Show Choir Canada Championships in Toronto and, in 2016, was named Grand Champion of the entire competition.
G Major has also performed alongside '80s best-selling rock group Foreigner at the Olympia Theatre, and was honoured to be asked to perform at the 2017 Montreal WE Day with The Voice winner Jordan Smith.
The club performs sold out shows every spring with this year’s performances taking place May 9-12, 2018 at Concordia's D.B. Clarke Theatre.
