Every St. George's high school student has online access to LEARN (Leading English Education and Resource Network), a non-profit educational foundation supported in part by funding from the Quebec-Canada Entente for Minority Language Education. The mandate of LEARN is to:
- offer e-learning services and support to all English school boards, private schools, community organizations and the private sector in rural and urban settings;
- support and promote pedagogical collaboration and innovation using information technology, and works to model best practices; and
- publish quality learning materials to support educators who are implementing competency-based practices in the classroom.
This service is an excellent resource that St. George's students can use to supplement their classroom learning of specific MEES courses simply by logging into the LEARN website with their St. George's usernames and passwords. Click below to access the upcoming tutorial sessions.
