Apply Grade 7
Applicants must have an English Eligibility Certificate to attend St. George’s High School. Please note that if your child is accompanying a parent on a Work Permit, Study Permit, or Diplomatic Status, the school will apply for the certificate once your child is enrolled.

After the application is received, a Family Admission Meeting will be scheduled starting in October 2026.
The application deadline for admission to Grade 7 for the 2027-2028 academic year is Friday, October 9, 2026.
Applications received past the deadline will be accepted and considered only as space becomes available.
A Grade 7 Admission Test (CAT) will be required when applying to Grade 7 and will be scheduled by the Admissions Team as part of the admissions process. Please review this information.
Below you will find the remaining possible dates to write the 2026 Grade 7 Common Admissions Test (CAT). Registration deadlines are approximately 10 days before the actual test date.

- September 20, 2026 (Registration closes: Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 10:45 p.m.)
- September 27, 2026 (Registration closes: Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 10:45 p.m.)
- October 4, 2026 (Registration closes: Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 10:45 p.m.)
- October 18, 2026 (Registration closes: Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 10:45 p.m.)
- October 25, 2026 (Registration closes: Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 10:45 p.m.)
Preparation:
- No advance preparation/studying is required. There will not be any French or Math specific evaluations.
Payment:
- The CAT is administered by Brisson Legris (BL). Registration and payment for the test is done through the BL registration form.
- The cost of the test is $80.48 (taxes included) and is payable directly to Brisson Legris.
Family Admission Meeting
- Family Admission Meetings will be starting in October 2026. This provides an opportunity for us to get to know your family and for you to learn more about the St. George’s experience.
Grade 7 admission decisions will be shared as of Wednesday, November 4, 2026.

- Non-refundable $50 application fee, payable online. For questions regarding payment contact the admissions office.
- Birth certificate (French or English)
- Photo of the applicant
- School recommendation form
- Current year report card
- Final report cards for the previous two years
- Déclaration d’admissibilité à l’enseignement en Anglais (English Eligibility Certificate) issued by the Ministry of Education
- Psycho-educational assessment (if applicable)
As part of the Grade 7 admissions process, we are inviting our applicants to experience Grade 7 for a Day, taking place on Monday, October 19, 2026.
You will receive the link to register as part of your child’s admissions checklist after submitting the inquiry form.
Have them experience what it is like to step into the shoes of a St. George’s student.
Participants will attend real classes, engage with passionate teachers, and take part in hands-on activities that reflect our progressive, student-centered approach. This immersive day allows students to connect with peers and experience the vibrant community that defines St. George’s. It’s the perfect opportunity to discover what makes our school unique, ask questions, and envision themselves as part of our learning community.

Bus Services
We run shared bus service on seven routes across the greater Montreal area, in partnership with other QAIS (Quebec Association of Independent Schools) private schools. Most routes stop at fixed points along the way; the Nuns’ Island route picks students up at their door.
