St. George’s School of Montreal is a special place where students are given the support and encouragement they need to succeed academically as well as develop into creative, inquisitive and confident young adults who are well prepared to meet the challenges of post-secondary education.

It is a safe and comfortable place that celebrates diversity and encourages mutual respect and the appreciation of individuality. St. George’s High School students take an active role in their education and communicate daily with faculty through our Advisor Program, designed to track individual student progress, performance and social integration. Our faculty members are highly qualified and dedicated professional educators who are committed to seeing each child succeed not only academically but also socially and emotionally to become well-adjusted and resilient young adults.

At St. George’s, our students “learn through doing” and this experiential learning philosophy is evident in the numerous activities both in and outside of the classroom that enhance and reinforce their learning in a meaningful way.

St. George’s High School students are invited to become totally immersed in school life and to actively participate in a variety of extra-curricular activities. Our Off Campus Education program introduces them to new and different experiences such as rock climbing, dragon boating, and curling, to name a few. Our Community Learning program offers our students hands-on, real-life volunteering experiences at various local community organizations such as the S.P.C.A., Les Amis de la Montagne, Kids on the Block, and the Old Brewery Mission. These are only some of the examples of the countless opportunities they have to participate in activities, discussions, performances, and programs designed to enlighten their sense of adventure, creativity and curiosity.

St. George’s School is a dedicated community of parents, faculty, staff and administration committed to supporting children and seeing them succeed and mature within a nurturing yet challenging environment. I invite you and your child to visit our High School during the course of the coming school year and witness first-hand the unique education being offered here at St. George’s.
