Professional Development - Fall, 2010

When our teachers return to school at the end of August, the entire faculty will be engaged in two and a half days of professional development workshops dedicated to designing a curriculum that reaches all learners.

These workshops will be animated by our two “Differentiation of Instruction” (DI) coaches / consultants, Amy Germudson and Jessica Hockett (both have been awarded a PhD specializing in the field of gifted and talented education – including work with the University of Virginia, NASA etc). They have presented previously, on several occasions to our faculty. Our teacher’s evaluation of their “coaching” has been most positive and inspiring.
