Dateline January 4th, St. George’s Elementary School – Day one of a two day professional development workshop. Early conversations about Christmas vacation, family gatherings, trips and events soon dissipate as our Animator, the highly respected Amy Germundson, begins the presentation. Amy is a PhD student in Gifted Studies at the internationally renowned Curry School of Education, University of Virginia, she is the educational consultant to both NASA and to the the North American Association for the Teaching of Mathematics.
